Vaccination, Volunteer, Video, +More. – join the fun

July 15 – Free vaccination clinic in South Tucson

Free DHPP vaccinations for dogs from 9 am to 1 pm, first come/first served at the South Tucson Fire Station located at 1601 S. 6th Avenue. DHPP protects your pup against parvo and distemper. The clinic is courtesy of Pima County Care Center, Friends of PACC and the city of South Tucson.

July 15 – Volunteer Day, Wild Hearts Rescue Ranch                                                      

Come meet the animals, groom horses and donkeys, muck some stalls, cuddle with some pigs, and help around the rescue from 9 am to noon. There is something for everyone with all abilities to do!  Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by parent or guardian. Closed toe shoes required.

July 15 – Fundraiser for Payoff Vet Debt at Casa Video

July 15 ends the month-long Payoff Vet Debt campaign. Stop by Casa Video and Casa Film Bar where a portion of your draft beer will be donated to the campaign and/or you can make a direct donation. Watch pet flicks. Bring a dog or meet some of the available dogs from the 11 rescues helped by the campaign hosted by the Saddlebrooke Pet Rescue Network. Casa Video is a hometown favorite winning Best Video Store in Best of Tucson Weekly year after year. Support a local business and let’s pay off vet debt.

July 16 – Fundraiser for Tucson Cause for Canines at The Maverick

Music for Mutts – $10 donation at the door goes directly to Tucson Cause for Canines. Come hear an outstanding musical lineup from 2 to 8 pm.

July 20 – Fundraiser for Heart of Tucson at The Maverick

Happy Equine Acres Rescue & Therapy (HEART) hosts a silent auction and raffle at The Maverick on July 20. Dance the night away to live country music by Up & At ‘Em, enjoy great drink specials, and help raise some funds. 21+
