July 21 – Taco Cat – Fundraiser for Tucson CARES at Public Brewhouse

Get ready to rock the Casbah with an 80s theme night at Public Brewhouse to benefit Tucson CARES. Vegan taco bar and sides + desserts and dance to the sounds of the 80s. Who knows as you might get lucky and find some Tainted Love? 80s attire encouraged.

Delicious beer, wine, kombucha and soda available from Public Brewhouse + plenty of radical raffles for awesome prizes. All proceeds benefit Tucson CARES’ life-saving work with Pima County’s in need and at-risk animals!  Free admission; 7 to 11 pm; Public Brewhouse is located at 209 N. Hoff Avenue, 85705


July 24 – Feast for Felines – Dine at Sazerac                                                            

Dine at Sazerac in St. Philips Plaza and mention Hermitage Cat Shelter and a portion of your check will be donated to the cats during the hours of 4 to 7 pm. Sazerac serves Creole food and craft cocktails in a dazzling ambiance and/or soothing patio. Sazerac is located at 4340 N. Campbell Ave.


Christmas in July Auction

Oasis Sanctuary in Benson (AZ) has a pretty cool online auction ending July 30. Check it out. The Oasis provides permanent care, shelter and rehabilitation for parrots and other captive exotic birds, providing a forever home to 800 parrots. Each and every one of these beautiful creatures has a unique personality, strong spirit, a challenging life story and a powerful will to live – often against all odds.

Mission Possible

Congratulations to PayOffVetDebt as they succeeded their fundraising goal. Eleven different rescues were given $2,727 each to pay off vet debt. Amazing!
