Bright Idea: Pay Off Vet Debt 2018
If you have a pet or a bunch of dogs and/or cats, you know how costly a trip to the vet can be, right? Well, what about the Tucson rescues who have dozens of pets waiting to be adopted, veterinarian fees and medications eat up a giant chunk of their fundraising.
Saddlebrooke Pet Rescue Network and Bonnie Kay have put together a Pay Off Vet Debt fundraiser to help 15 charities do just that. For every dollar raised, not only will it be matched but it will be doubled, 2:1. Better odds than anywhere.
The goal is for the community to raise $15,000 and then $45,000 will be divided among these 15 hardworking rescues: Hope Animal Shelter, Lil Bit of Love, Lifeline Oro Valley, Pima Paws for Life, RAD Rescue, Ruff Rescue Tucson, Saving at Risk Animals, Tucson Cares, Tucson Cold Wet Noses, Paws Patrol, Claws & Paws, Miss Maggie May’s Rescue, Pawsitively Cats, Tucson2Tails, Cherished Tails Senior Sanctuary.
If rescues can’t pay their vet bills, they can’t rescue any pets to be adopted. End of story. Please give what you can today. Remember it’s going to be doubled. This fundraiser ends July 30, 2018.
