Fun Events: Ugly Sweater, Flea-less Market, Santa Photos, Run/Walk
Here are a few events happening this weekend and in the near future that not only fund-raise but provide some fun for you and/or with your dog/s.
Friday, 12/14 – 5 to 9 pm – Ugly Sweater Fundraiser
Wear one or without for the Cherished Tails Senior Animal Sanctuary’s fundraiser at The Shelter Cocktail Lounge, 4155 E. Grant Road. 21+, leave the doggies at home.
Enjoy cocktails, raffles, food, desserts, prizes. Mingle with the pet loving crowd. A percentage of the bar is donated to Cherished Tails, Tucson’s only rescue and sanctuary dedicated to senior dogs and cats.
Sunday, 12/16 – 9 am to 6 pm – Epic Flea-less Market
The Flea-less Market and vegan bake sale benefits Tucson C.A.R.E.S. which shelter nearly 60 precious cats and a handful of beloved dogs at any given time and provides support for countless others through their work in the community and in partnership with other non-profit organizations and institutions.
What to buy? Great deals, eclectic finds, home goods, vintage treasures and much more at Kismet, 2627 E. Broadway Blvd.
Sunday, 12/16 – 2 to 5 pm – Santa, Pups, Pints
Enjoy craft beer at Crooked Tooth Brewing Co. and bring your pups for a $10 photo shoot with Santa. Your favorite pics will be promptly emailed to you for sharing with friends and family before Christmas.
15% of beer sales during the event will be donated to No Kill Pima County, a non-profit grassroots organization working to implement the “no kill” equation.
