Is your neighborhood plagued by feral cats? First you see a stray cat and then another and then another. Did you know that here in Tucson, feral cats are called community cats and there are resources available to curb their numbers and provide them with safety?

It’s called T.N.R. or trap, neuter, return. Find out more at this free workshop at the Murphy-Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Road, on Saturday, February 15th from 3:15 to 4:45 pm. Doors open at 3 pm. This event is hosted by No Kill Pima County.  You’ll learn about the resources available to you and have the opportunity to ask tough questions to a panel of experts.

You can also listen to KVOI 1030 AM (or live stream) cat advocate expert Jessica Shuman on the Bill Buckmaster Show on Thursday Feb 13, near the opening of the show at noon. Tune in for a quick preview of the TNR workshop.

The Loft Cinema is once again hosting the hugely popular Cat Video Fest on Saturday February 22 and Wednesday February 26, a portion of the ticket sales with be donated to Hermitage Cat Shelter (on the 22nd) and Hope Animal Shelter (on the 26th).
