Fosters to the Rescue
Free community event

Invitation to you — the Tucson animal loving community

Tucson’s dog and cat rescues are the life blood of our community. Most, if not all of them, pull pets from Pima Animal Care Center in order to aid PACC and to provide a public service to the community. Companion animals in large numbers would not be able to be saved if it were not for local rescues sharing in the responsibility.

Now you can come out and show your appreciation. Meet some rescues; find out how you can volunteer or learn about foster care; interact with pets available for adoption and take a selfie/share with your friends; and just maybe find a new addition to your family.

These rescues save lives and look forward to meeting you:

  • In the Arms of Angels
  • Big Heads Bigger Hearts
  • Handi-Dogs
  • Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians
  • Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue (LOVAR)
  • Lil Bit of Love
  • Love Is Forever – LIFE Animal Rescue
  • RAD Rescue
  • RUFF Rescue
  • SOS Cat Rescue
  • SunShine Valley Animal Sanctuary
  • Pawsitively Cats
  • Pima Paws for Life
  • Tucson Cold Wet Noses

Fosters to the Rescue event runs from 10 AM to 3 PM, is free and open to the public with plenty of free parking + raffle prizes, training opportunities,  and information for local resources. Lots of fun for the whole family. Tell your friends. This is a No Kill Pima County initiative.

The Foothills Mall is located at 7401 N La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, Arizona 85741

Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea looks forward to meeting you. She loves everyone including well behaved children and car rides. Sweet Pea was found as a thin stray and blind due to her diabetes not being treated but RAD Rescue now has that under control.
