My Senior Pet Project by A Tucson Tail Blog

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month.

Everyone has a passion (I hope) or a desire to make their community (or the world) a better place. Lofty? I think not. One of my passions is senior dogs, but I’ll add senior cats so as not to discriminate. Every senior pet should be loved and taken care of for the rest of their lives.

My goal is to bring more awareness to adoptable senior pets at PACC as well as other rescue groups who have senior adoptable dogs and cats in Southern Arizona.

To repeat that old cliché about putting money where your mouth is – A Tucson Tail, the pet blog of Southern Arizona, stepped up to donate $500 in order to sponsor five adoptable senior pets at PACC. Donations are made through No Kill Pima County/ Dogs are considered seniors at age 7 and cats at age 9. One hundred dollars per pet will be given to the adopter’s veterinarian. Individuals just like you and businesses large and small are encouraged to contribute and match funds so more than five seniors can be sponsored. Pets will be sponsored on a first come basis.
