Wishlist Wednesday: Hoofs n Horns Farm Sanctuary, Tucson

Hoofs n Horns is committed to helping those animals who arrive in need, who are abandoned, neglected, or just worn out. Many arrive near the end of their lives or sometimes days of their lives. All the animals have one thing in common — others gave up on them.

Meet Shoney (otherwise known as Michonne). Someone tied her to a post in front Broadway Animal Hospital after being hit by a car and suffering a broken leg. Broadway Animal Hospital set her leg and allowed her to heal there and spayed and gave her all vaccinations. She has been living at BAH for the past 1 ½ months.

Shoney is 1 ½ years old, is great with dogs of all sizes and cats too. She likes people and is looking for a loving forever home. Come meet her and In the Arms of Angels this Saturday at Petsmart (Grant/Swan) from 10-4.

Bernard was hanging around an alley outside a vet’s office and so they showed me the way to HOPE Animal Shelter where he is slowly learning to trust people. So until Bernard reaches that point he will need to find a very patient and loving family who can give this gentle guy the opportunity to learn about love.

Bernard is available at HOPE Animal Shelter, 8950 N. Joplin Lane in Marana, 792-9200
